Gabby Young is a talented upcoming singer-songwriter fronting the alternative folk-rock band Gabby Young and other animals. We did a nice series of portraits in the lounge of Shepherds Bush Ginglik before their birthday gig on March 17th. Try to catch them at camden Crawl where they’ll rock the Bar Vinyl in April!

Sugarland
Sunday, March 29th, 2009American country music duo Sugarland, Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush were litteraly running and jumping everywhere the other night on the stage of the Shepherds Bush Empire, so much that I actually felt well useful when Kristian Bush, running back from a little visit to the enthousiastic crowd, was about to fall in the pit and and I pushed him back on track just in time, I can’t believe he didn’t miss a chord!
Hot pants!
Friday, March 13th, 2009The darkness is upon us, yes a pretty dark venue to tell the truth, barely any front light to admire Justin Hawkins’ new outfit, and what an outfit I say! That was Hot Leg last night at Islington Academy, with plenty of hair and guitar solos.
Marina And The Diamonds
Monday, March 9th, 2009A new studio set, as featured in the March issue of Chicago’s lifestyle and fashion magazine VENUS ZINE with a new great artist in the electro/pop scene. Believe me if I say you will hear a lot about Marina Diamond from this year onward! This Welsh-born London-based artist is really talented so check her out now and go listen to her tunes, she has a single out on Neon Gold and is now signed with Warner’s 679 label.
HTRK
Saturday, March 7th, 2009A set I forgot to post a while ago, there might be a few more like that coming up, with experimental band HTRK (pronounce hate-rock) who were supporting Ipso Facto at The Lexington last December, or how to play floor drum with marracas. They’ll be playing a few shows this month check them out.
