How did I spend all this time without a single update is a mystery. Or is it? Well it’s not like there’s nothing happening, but I suppose once you miss it for a couple of week then the new work is stacking up and you don’t know where to start.
And I don’t know where to start.
Tomorrow morning I’ll be off to the Isle of Wight with a big schedule for my cameras, followed shortly by more festival action, so I thought I’d better throw a few samples of the last few months in here beforehand!!
Amusingly, my friend and fellow photographer Sebastian Sardou just emailed me a shot of the front window of London’s Hard Rock CafĂ©, and I thought that would be a good coincidence to start this article with the same subject I start my last one. One of my images of Paul McCartney & Rita Gilligan to promote the 40 years of Hard Rock.
To finish the story about the Cancer Research auction event, my two prints raised a bit over a thousand pounds which is great. I’m grateful to Brian May for signing one of my print for the occasion (below). Good to know the money went to some good cause.
A sample of the last few months then:
Carl Barat at the 100 Club, posing here with chum James Allan from Glasvegas.
A nice photoshoot with American singer Jessica Clemmons. For some reason I haven’t got a gallery of these online, will do that when I can.
The NME Big Gig at Wembley Arena with Cee-Lo Green and headlined by Foo Fighters fronted by “Godlike Genius” Dave Grohl.
P J Harvey at the Troxy.
Annie Lennox at the Royal Festival Hall for a show with the charity she put together, EQUALS, the show also featured Paloma Faith, Kate Nash, VV Brown..
Roger Waters playing The Wall at the O2 Arena, amazing show!
And Razorlight busking at St Martin In The Field in Charing Cross, promoting Get Loaded In The Park and The Big Issue anniversary.
And there’s loads more on my Flickr page, check it out!
